Marché de Noël

The Strasbourg Christmas Market (Marché de Noël) is Europe’s oldest, founded in 1570, and remains a premier tourist attraction celebrating Alsatian holiday traditions. Recognized as the "Christmas Capital," the market features over 300 chalets spread across a dozen locations in the city’s picturesque, pedestrian-friendly center. The market is scheduled to run from November 26 through December 24, 2025. Opening times are daily from 11:30 am to 9:00 pm, with earlier closing at 6:00 pm on December 24. Entrance to the market is free. A key location is Place Saint-Thomas.
