Pointe du Raz

The Pointe du Raz is a "Grand Site de France" natural landmark located in Plogoff, Brittany, facing the Ile de Sein and the Iroise Sea. Famous for its rugged, breathtaking beauty, it is a popular destination for hiking, particularly along the GR®34 path. The site is open from March 30, 2026, to November 1, 2026.

The Maison du site offers guided tours, exhibitions, films, and an electric shuttle for visitors with reduced mobility. Interactive landscape readings are held daily at 2 pm, 3 pm, 4 pm, and 5 pm. Family-friendly activities include treasure hunts and themed walks focusing on fauna, flora, and maritime heritage.

Admission rates for 2026 start at a base rate of €9.00, with reduced rates between €2.00 and €6.00. Free admission applies in certain cases. Payment methods include debit cards, cash, and transfers. The car park is open year-round. Parking is free from November to March. From April to October, it costs €8 for cars and motorbikes, with reduced rates after 6 pm in April–November and after 7 pm in July–August.

An electric shuttle runs from the Visitor Centre to the Pointe du Raz point (800m) for €1 each way, free for disabled visitors and children under 9. The shuttle schedule varies by season. The Visitor Centre is open from 10 am to 6 pm daily from March 31 to July 6 and August 25 to November 2, and from 10 am to 7 pm daily from July 7 to August 24. Additional amenities include bike parking, luggage storage, and downloadable maps. This landmark offers a profound insight into the natural heritage of Brittany.
