Église Saint-Ours

The Collégiale Saint-Ours in Loches is an 11th- and 12th-century Romanesque collegiate church located in the heart of the royal city. It is a notable tourist attraction featuring two unique architectural elements: a well-preserved multi-coloured portal from around 1150, considered the best in Touraine, and two octagonal domes known as "dubes," which are unique in France. Closing times vary by season: in January 2026, it closes at 5:00 pm; from February to March, April to June, September to October, and November to December 2026, it closes at 6:00 pm; and from July to August 2026, it closes at 7:30 pm.
