The Musée Jean Lurçat et de la Tapisserie Contemporaine is a unique cultural landmark in Angers, France, housed within the historic 12th-century Hôpital Saint-Jean complex. Located at 4 boulevard Arago, 49100 Angers, the museum combines medieval architecture with contemporary art, specifically featuring masterpieces of 20th and 21st-century tapestry. It is named after and pays tribute to Jean Lurçat (1892–1966), a renowned painter and pioneer in international tapestry art.

The museum’s key attraction is the sumptuous hanging "Le Chant du Monde" by Jean Lurçat, created between 1957 and 1965. The collection includes approximately sixty textile works arranged chronologically. A current highlight is the "Tolkien hanging," displayed until November 8, 2026, as part of a partnership with the Cité internationale de la tapisserie d'Aubusson. Visitors can also explore a covered gallery, a 17th/18th-century apothecary, and the former orphanage.

The museum is open daily from Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. It is closed on Mondays and specific public holidays, including January 1, May 1, November 1 and 11, and December 25.
