Galerie François Ier

The Galerie François Ier is a significant ceremonial space located on the first floor of the Château de Fontainebleau, serving as a prime example of French Renaissance art. Built between 1528 and 1530 by King Francis I to connect his private apartments to the Trinity Chapel, this gallery measures approximately 64 meters long and 6 meters wide. It is widely recognized as the most representative decorative ensemble of the first school of Fontainebleau.
