Perros-Guirec, situated in the Côtes-d'Armor department of Brittany, is a town with a distinct geographical and cultural identity. Historically, it was a small fishing village that transformed into a major tourist destination in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, attracting artists and vacationers with its landscape; the painter Maurice Denis settled here and painted the coast.
